Available States
Effective Date: July 2, 2026
Uplevel Bio's platform serves patients in 47 U.S. states plus the District of Columbia. We do not currently serve patients residing in Alaska, Mississippi, or New Jersey.
Which protocols and diagnostics you can access depends on the state you live in, because pharmacy licensing, telehealth rules, and compounding restrictions vary state by state. This page tells you what's available where you live, what's restricted, and how the differences show up in your experience with us.
How state availability works
Three separate state-by-state rules affect what you can access:
- Your treating clinician must be licensed in your state to prescribe to you. The Asher Med provider network holds licenses across the 47 states we serve. The specific clinician who reviews your intake will be licensed in your state.
- The pharmacy fulfilling your prescription must be licensed to ship into your state. Our 503A pharmacy partners are licensed to fulfill in the states listed on our Pharmacy Partners page.
- State-specific compounding rules determine which formulations are permitted. A protocol available in Texas may not be available in California because California maintains a state-specific list of prohibited compound bases; a protocol available in Florida may not be available in New York because New York restricts certain sterile compounded formulations to in-state pharmacies.
If any of the three rules blocks a protocol for your state, we will show you the restriction before you submit your intake, and your provider will not prescribe something they cannot legally provide to you.
States we do not currently serve
We are not currently able to accept patients residing in:
- Alaska
- Mississippi
- New Jersey
If you live in one of these states and would like to know when we can serve you, email support@uplevel.bio and we will notify you when service becomes available.
Availability by protocol
Not every protocol is available in every state we serve. When you complete your intake, the platform checks your state against the current availability of each protocol you've selected — and the reviewing clinician confirms during their review whether the protocol you're seeking is one they can legally prescribe to you in your state. If something isn't available for your state, we'll tell you before you finish checking out and — where possible — the clinician will offer an alternative protocol that fits.
Availability changes as pharmacy licensing and state rules evolve. If you have a question about whether a specific protocol is available for you, email support@uplevel.bio.
What if my state changes
State rules move. If a protocol becomes newly restricted in your state, we will notify you before your next fill and — where medically appropriate — your provider will discuss alternatives. If a protocol becomes newly available in your state, we will notify eligible members who had previously been unable to access it.
Where we cannot yet ship
We do not currently serve patients in Alaska, Mississippi, or New Jersey (see above), and we do not serve patients located outside the United States and its territories. If you are traveling internationally and receive shipments to a U.S. address, that is fine; if you become a permanent resident of another country, your care through Uplevel must pause.
